This week Michelle looks at the "Relative Privation Fallacy". This fallacy, also known as "not as bad as", can be seen as a type of red herring or distraction. The fallacy is essentially an argument that a certain issue is not important or does not deserve attention and resources because there are other and more important issues. A Logical Fallacy is an error we can make in reasoning, but it usually crops up when we are discussing or arguing our point of view. |
