  • I think I see the confusion here. I am saying "thanks for adding the links" - they are a great help when deciding which episodes to download (I can't listen to them all, unfortunately).

However, it took me quite some time to find Professor Blair's name on the Gravity Center site, and even then it wasn't clear what he did there. I was suggesting something like this for the show notes:

    "Kylie Sturgess interviews
Professor David Blair, gravity wave astronomer and director of the Gravity Centre,
    from http://www.gravitycentre.com.au

    0:18:10
    THE THINK TANK -
Dr Rachael Dunlop, Richard Saunders and Jason
    discuss X, Y and Z."

Anyway, just a suggestion. I appreciate the effort you guys (and gals) put in to get a quality podcast out with such regularity. Keep up the good work.

  • Ah, Sean - there's not only above, but there's the www.skepticzone.tv site, which has a link to the official site too... and a YouTube video of my visiting the Gravity Centre that we discuss!

  • Kylie - thanks for the reply.

Apologies, but I don't see a link to the show notes, apart from the brief description shown above.

Also, I'm downloading the shows at home, and listening in the car, so I don't hear your introduction until much later (so I haven't actually listened to this episode yet...).

Professor Blair sounds fascinating - a gravity wave astronomer, no less. Shows like yours are what transform my commute time from a chore to an scholarly smorgasbord of skeptical soundwaves. Thanks.

  • The power balance bracelets predictably failed the NSW Blues. Should we try selling them Maroons voodoo dolls?

  • Sean Ellis - we do all of those things... did you see the show notes and listen to my intro?

  • I almost thought I heard a German docktor there briefly in the drink tank. I thought he was on sabbatical for six months?

  • Including links alongside the guests is a great additional help for those of us who may not have come across them before. May I suggest that including a one-line guest intro would be even more user-friendly. Excellent show, even from 20000km away - keep up the good work.
